 PRODUCTION DESIGN:"Petit Louvre"
Ghibli Museum, Mitaka/Mitaka city, Tokyo JAPAN

Yohei Taneda rebuilt the Louvre Museum in France into an exhibit room of Ghibli Museum with
Goro Miyazaki, the director of "Tales from Earthsea".
The 1st room was "French Arts Room". There were great pictures reduced the size to 40%
you can touch, Venus de Milo, 3D picture you can look into, see the Seine and the scenery on
the other side of the Seine in the Middle Ages and so on.
The 2nd room was "Room for desolation". There were a diorama of ruined Louvre, a well to
project image of the starry sky, a mysterious ancient Egyptian mummy case and so on.
They symbolize the dark side of the Louvre Museum.
This was enjoyable exhibition for people who visited "petit" Louvre.
