2007/10 FILM 　"THE MAGIC HOUR" has finished filming Kohki Mitani's latest work, his 4th film that's called "THE MAGIC HOUR" has finished filming. Yohei Taneda worked on Kohki Mitani's last film "THE WOW-CHOTEN HOTEL", and he continuously participats to the latest film as the Production Designer. The scene for "THE WOW-CHOTEN HOTEL" is a big hotel, and the scene for "THE MAGIC HOUR" is fictitious seaport town called Sukago. Yohei Taneda worked on the film as a Production Designer. It's based on RAKUGO, the comic story called "Shinkei Kasanegafuchi", told by a genius comic storyteller Sanyutei-Encho. The leading actor as Shinkichi is Kikunosuke Onoe who is a young kabuki actor, pulling the kabuki world. As Toyoshiga who loves Shinkichi deeply and leaves her heart after she die is Hitomi Kuroki, she is a well-known actress represented Japan. After Toyoshiga died, Shinkichi gets close to women but Toyshiga's deep attachment to Shinkichi disturbs him to be happy. Shinkichi and women surrounded him are getting to be swallowed in a dark whirlpool, Kasanegafuchi as it's fated. Director is Hideo Nakata who has directed "The Ring 2" and it's come to be the 1st rank in the U.S.. It's been 5 years and on this year, he made a real Japanese movie.
