FILM "VILLON'S WIFE" will be shown at the theater from Oct. 10th in Japan.
2009 is the year to mark the 100th anniversary of Osamu Dazai's birth（1909ー1948）.
Japanese of large majority are familiar with the literature of Osamu Dazai such as
「Ningen shikkaku」「Hashire Merosu」and many others.
It characterizes and is enumerated in Dazai's literature in woman's psychological portrait,
sarcasm, and the humour while caught in an image that describes the human suffering,
and is decadent.
Director, Kichitaro Negishi made it into a film from a short story "VILLON'S WIFE" that the
talent is particularly felt.
Wife, starring with Takako Matsu who lives delicately and powerfully even though her
dissipated husband, starring with Tadanobu Asano runs her life.
Other great actors gatherd for this film, such as Shigeru Muroi, Masato Ibu, Ryoko Hirosue,
Satoshi Tsutsumi and Satoshi Tsumabuki.
"VILLON'S WIFE" won the Best Director of the 33rd Montreal World Film Festival.
「I've seen some other films with high level. I appreciate Photographing, Production Design
and Lighting evaluated very high. 」Director Kichitaro Negishi said at the press conference
after he came back in japan from the film festival.
Yohei Taneda worked on this film as a Production Designer, he made a city of Tokyo right
after World War II, a house in Musashi-Koganei and the entertainment district in Nakano to
adopt a bold and fineness vision inside of TOHO Studio.
He devoted himself for shooting on location also, put together and made up the world where
the heroine lives.
The point that he had headed was a possibility with a fairy tale depth.

FILM "AIR DOLL" will be shown at the theater from Sep. 26th in Japan.
Hirokazu Koreeda who directed "Nobody Knows" has cherished this story, as a source of
his new film for 9 years. "AIR DOLL" turned out to a fantasic love story, describing
「DOLL and HUMAN」「AIR and EMPTINESS」and 「LIFE and SEX」.
It will be shown from Sep. 26th in Japan.
This film has officially entried to "Un Certain Regard" of the 62nd Cannes International
Film Festival and "Masters" of the 34th Toronto International Film Festival.
Yohei Taneda worked on as a Production Designer, created an apartment the heroine, Air Doll
lives, rental video shop that Air Doll works with this man Air Doll loves and the town.
It is an everyday thing in a common world, but also fantasic.

"Dokoka Toku-he TOWARDS SOMEWHERE FAR AWAY".
When he was a little boy, a young man and as a student in the Art University,
what did he think and experience? What did he feel?
How was he interested in "going somewhere far away"?
His image for films, its artworks, image-building for location shooting...
those are packed into this book.
He said, "When I work for films, sometimes talk to myself, talk to a boy when I was little."

EVENT Summer Festival "Fantomatico!" at HUIS TEN BOSCH, started from Jul. 18th.
Summer event at HUIS TEN BOSCH, Nagasaki JAPAN called "Fantomatico!" has started
from 2007, and it's held from Jul. 18th through Aug. 31st on this year.
Yohei Taneda worked on this event as a Production Designer on 2007 and 2008, and
participated as an Art Supervisor on this year.
There are many food and beear stalls, dance performance and live music on the stage.
International Fireworks Festival is held, too.

FILM "AMALFI" will be released in Japan from Jul. 18th, 2009.
Before Christmas, a Japanese girl suddenly disappered in Rome.
Is this a profit-oriented kidnapping or an introduction of terror?
The clue of this case toward a beautiful harbor town called Amalfi that is located southwest of Italy.
The story is based on a book, written by Yuichi Shinpo.
Yuji Oda plays a diplomat Kuroda who gets closer to the truth and Yuki Amami plays a mother of the missing girl.
Koichi Sato, Erika Toda, director Hiroshi Nishitani, all other casts and staff were concentrated at Italy. All scenes
did the shooting there.
Yohei Taneda worked on the film "AMALFI" as a Production Designer, made a set in Cinecitta studio in Rome.
It was a mixed Art dept. with Japanese staff and Italian staff, making up its artworks.
This film has made to mark the Japanese TV station, FUJI TV's 50th anniversary.
It will be released in Japan from Jul. 18th, 2009.

FILM "Dance Subaru" will be released in Japan from Mar. 20th, 2009.
Hong Kong, Japan, China and Korea brought together by a sense of making up a big project, the new film called
"Dance Subaru" will be released in Japan from Mar. 20th, 2009.
Yohei Taneda worked on the film as a Production Designer. This is the 2nd time to work with a Director Lee Chi NGAI
since they worked together on a film "Sleepless Town"in 1998.
This film is based on a comic "Subaru" by Masahito Soda, on Big Comic Spirits. "Subaru" has began from 1999 and
that made a big hit. It's one of masterpieces and it has lots of fans in Japan.
Finally it's turned into a film with one of the greatest producer of Asia, Bill KONG.
Starring with Meisa Kuroki as an unhappiness but genius ballet dancer, Subaru Miyamoto.
And Kaori Momoi plays a pubkeeper of PALAIS GARNIER, she always watches over Subaru.
Ara, Yuta Hiraoka, Toshio Kakei, Ken Maeda and other casts are surrounded Subaru.
Yohei Taneda made a pub, PALAIS GARNIER in Shanghai. Subaru dances on the stage of the pub.
It has a stage and the audience seats, beautiful and period building.
